• 1 to 10,000 Horsepower (HP) random wound and form wound electric motors.
• Disassembly and Reassembly of Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) electric motors.
• Familiar with ball bearings, sleeve bearings and roller bearings.
• Dynamic balancing of rotors, armatures, fans and pump impellers.
• Perform no-load and full-load operational testing.
• Fill out required QA reports and testing data.
• Detail oriented with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal skills required.

MARINE ELECTRICIANS

Dahl-Beck Electric has provided onboard electrical repair services for maritime vessels visiting SF Bay Area ports for over 80 years. We are looking for qualified full-time Marine Electricians to troubleshoot, repair and install various electrical systems onboard these ships. An understanding of electrical principles, switchgear, motor control and lighting systems are necessary to be successful in this challenging position. If you are a responsible team player, a self-starter, able to follow directions, willing to work some overtime and have a valid driver's license, then we would like to speak to you. Compensation is based on your skill level and years of related work experience.
